Privacy

Revised 7 November 2026.

Who publishes this site

F-Lie, the tour operator of F-Lie Hotel in Llandudno, Wales. F-Lie Hotel decides what happens to personal data sent through this site; its address is in the contact details at the foot of every page. Email [email protected].

What the site collects when you only read

Nothing that identifies you. The pages hold no accounts and take no payments. Two small values live in your browser’s local storage: flie_age_ok, which remembers that you said you were 18 or over, and flie_consent, which remembers your cookie answer. Both stay on your device and can be cleared at any time.

Like every web server, ours writes a log line for each request, with the time, the page and your network address. These logs are kept for a short period for security and are not read for any other purpose.

If you send a tour request or write to us

The request form on a tour page asks for your name, email, phone, the number of travellers, a preferred month, a time to call and any notes. It goes to the F-Lie managers, who use it to ring you, confirm the price and prepare a written offer. A copy is also kept in your browser under flie_requests so the page can show what you sent.

An email or a phone call carries your name and whatever you tell us. Requests and enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation runs and for two years after the last contact, unless a booking follows, in which case the records the law requires are kept for longer.

Analytics and advertising

Measurement and advertising cookies are off until you accept them in the cookie bar. If you decline, the site behaves the same and sends nothing to analytics or ad services. The cookie notice lists what would appear.

Legal bases

Answering a request or an enquiry rests on taking steps you asked for before a contract. Server logs rest on a legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. Analytics and advertising rest on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who else sees data

Our web host and our email provider process data for us under contract. We do not sell personal data and do not share it for other firms’ marketing.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct, delete or take a copy of your data, and object to its use. Write to [email protected]. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, ico.org.uk.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 18.

Changes

When this notice changes we change the date at the top.

Gaming happens in one room of F-Lie Hotel and nowhere else. On this site nothing is staked, no account is kept and no payment passes through.
