Short on purpose
F-Lie began with a complaint: the holiday was over before anyone had lain down. So we cut the schedule right back, to a flight there, a terrace at the other end and a second coffee nobody hurries.
Each weekend sets off from the same place, the hotel in Llandudno. You walk out of the front door onto the promenade, we take you to the airport, and when you come home you walk back in. The hotel also has a casino room in the building, which keeps to its own page.

A white hotel on the front
Bay windows, a tall tower on the corner and a clear view along the promenade to the pier. Rooms face the sea or the sunset, and breakfast runs on until half past eleven.
F-Lie Casino, in the old winter garden
The casino is a room of the hotel itself: a former winter garden under a glass dome, with nine tables and a bar, open Thursday to Sunday evenings.
From the front desk it is thirty-eight steps along the garden corridor to the casino door. Guests must be 18 or over and show photo ID there, every time.
